We read every message. Corrections and neighbourhood tips get a reply within a week; questions about a specific booking get an answer if we have one. Coverage requests from operators are declined without reply, as our editorial policy explains, and we do not sell advertising.

What makes a tip useful

Tell us the city and the neighbourhood, roughly when you played, what you paid per person and whether tax was included, and anything about the booking that surprised you — a deposit, a minimum group, a language requirement, a room that has closed. You do not need to name the operator, and we will not publish it if you do. A note that “the plazas near Kennedy and Sheppard have dropped to about $28 on weekdays” is exactly the kind of thing that ends up in a guide, with the date checked.

If you are writing about a booking that went wrong, we are sorry, and we will read it, but we are not a complaints service and cannot intervene with an operator on your behalf. Your provincial consumer-protection office can.
